Red Art is an artist portfolio and art photography theme by designthemes. It presents artworks in galleries and portfolio grids, with pages for exhibitions, artist biographies, a blog and a WooCommerce shop for originals and prints. Version 3.6 in October 2024 fixed minor bugs, 3.7 in May 2025 cleared PHP warnings, 3.8 on June 5, 2025 fixed security and WooCommerce issues, and 4.0 on August 4, 2025 updated premium plugin sources and compatibility. The support page tells buyers to read its update notes before updating.
Art buyers want to see scale and provenance. On Red Art sites we see artworks without dimensions or medium, sold pieces still listed for sale, print editions without numbering, exhibition pages stuck on past shows and enquiry buttons missing. We add artwork details, mark sold works, set limited edition stock, keep exhibitions current and add a collector enquiry form.
