What is the ART Theme?
ART is a clean portfolio theme by SeaTheme for artists, illustrators, photographers and creative freelancers. It offers more than 30 premade layouts, 19 header layouts, grid and masonry portfolios, WooCommerce support and one click demo import. Pages are built with BM Content Builder, SeaTheme’s own drag and drop builder, so Elementor is not the native editor. Version 3.12.3 fixed a privilege escalation vulnerability and 3.12.4.1 added WooCommerce 10 compatibility, and ThemeForest shows a last update on October 14, 2026. SeaTheme’s forum also has a thread on vulnerabilities in BM Builder and ART.
Minimal portfolios hide small breakages. On ART sites we see builds older than 3.12.3, masonry grids collapsing on phones, headers clashing with full screen images, shop pages unstyled and owners wanting Elementor. We update securely, fix grid breakpoints, match headers to imagery, style the shop and rebuild key pages in Elementor when asked.
