What is the Bridge Theme?
Bridge is Qode Interactive’s long-running creative multipurpose theme, on ThemeForest since April 2014 and still actively updated. It offers more than 630 demos and works with Elementor, WPBakery or Gutenberg.
Bridge relies on the Bridge Core plugin for its shortcodes and widgets, and bundles LayerSlider, Slider Revolution and its own Qode Slider. Extra Qode plugins add listings, news, restaurant reservations via OpenTable and membership features. Updates are delivered through the Envato Market plugin. Because Bridge has been around so long, many sites were built years ago with WPBakery, then partly extended in Elementor, and now carry three sliders and plenty of unused shortcodes. Keeping Bridge Core, the sliders and WordPress in step is where most problems start, and where a careful customization and cleanup pays off.
