What is the Vikinger Theme?
Vikinger is a BuddyPress and GamiPress social community theme by Odin Design. Members get activity streams, profiles, groups and messaging, while GamiPress adds achievements, quests, badges, ranks, credits and progress widgets, and Verified Member for BuddyPress handles verification badges. WooCommerce powers a shop, and GamiPress add ons let points pay for or discount orders. Elementor works on new pages built with it, not on every theme page. Version 2.0.0 on August 25, 2026 reduced theme size by over 37 percent, swapped Grunt for Vite and split plugin CSS, and an October 8 update refreshed plugins.
Communities stall when members feel unseen. On Vikinger sites we see badges that never unlock, quests with no clear steps, verification requests piling up, points without a reward shop and slow activity feeds. We fix GamiPress triggers, design clear quests, streamline verification, build a points store and speed up feeds.
Theme figures as listed on ThemeForest or the developer’s site, checked 23 October 2026.
