What is The7 Theme?
The7 by Dream-Theme has been one of ThemeForest’s best-selling multipurpose themes since 2013. Its The7 Elements add-on for Elementor provides header, mega menu, archive and WooCommerce building tools, with dozens of widgets for general and store layouts, plus a custom post type builder.
In 2026 The7 changed significantly. The ThemeForest listing is now The7 Classic, a legacy edition receiving security and essential updates only. Since 22 July 2026, new development has moved to The7 15, a block-first architecture sold as a direct subscription, with a one-click upgrade path. Dream-Theme states that child themes remain compatible, and that purchases less than 12 months old get a free upgrade. For site owners the question is practical: stay on Classic for now, or upgrade and check every custom template. We help with both, as well as everyday The7 customization.
