What is the Lore Theme?
Lore is an elegant knowledge base theme by LSVRthemes for help centres and documentation. It runs on the LSVR Framework, and version 2.6.17 in September 2026 added WordPress 7.1 compatibility and updated that framework to 1.9.7, so it is actively maintained.
A knowledge base works when customers find answers without opening a ticket. On Lore sites we see categories that mirror the company’s org chart instead of customer tasks, search that returns old articles first, articles with no screenshots or steps, no way to rate whether an article helped and a contact link hidden at the bottom. We customize Lore so categories follow what customers try to do, search favours fresh and popular articles, templates include steps, screenshots and related articles, each article collects feedback and the support desk is one click away when the answer isn’t there.
