What is the Eldon Theme?
Eldon is an artist portfolio theme by Edge-Themes, part of Qode Interactive, for illustrators, artists, designers and creative studios. It uses Elementor with portfolio layouts, and version 1.5 was released in March 2026.
Artists use Eldon because it looks like a gallery, but a gallery alone doesn’t sell work or win commissions. We see portfolios with every piece in one grid and no series or year, artworks with no size, medium or availability, exhibitions listed in a single paragraph, commission requests sent through a general form and no way to buy prints. We customize Eldon so work is grouped by series or medium, each piece shows size, materials and whether it is available, exhibitions and press have their own pages, commission requests capture budget and deadline and prints or originals can be bought online.
